CONVERSATIONS WITH THE
Agapi Stassinopoulos brings the Greek goddesses off the pedestal into our everyday lives. With warmth and humor, she shows us how they can guide and enlighten us. Through her dramatic portrayal of heroines from ancient plays and modern literature – from Shakespeare to Shaw to Euripedes – she brings the goddesses to life.
In examples from history and
literature, she portrays the goddesses, natural and worldly, taking part in our
lives through the conflicts, flaws, and failings, as well as through our joys
and accomplishments. Bridging the ancient and modern worlds, she stirs our
imagination, enriching our understanding of others and ourselves.
Agapi was born in Athens, Greece. She was educated at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, where she received the Ronson Award for "Best Actress of the Year" She appeared in the film "Surviving Picasso" with Anthony Hopkins. She is developing a motion picture on "The Maria Callas Story" based on the best-selling book written by her sister, Arianna Huffington. With her unique gifts, she has 'Inspired and entertained audiences throughout the country. Her newest book "Conversations With The Goddesses has received critical acclaim:
