Delbert McCoy was an auto worker in Detroit MI, a husband and the father of two baby girls when his life was change by an arson set at a dance hall. Following two and half years in hospitals, he began the struggle to keep his family together and support them. He earned a degree in marketing, ran a successful record store and popular catering business. He helped raise his daughters and saw them through college.
In recent years Delbert has inspired hundreds of people in the Detroit area with his courage and his inspirational message. He has formed a non profit agency to continue his work of counseling and helping young men and men who are at risk of taking the wrong path in life.
