Nicos Alexiou Nicos Alexiou was born in Volos, Greece, in 1959. He studied Economics in Athens and worked in various trades. He came to the United States in the mid-80s and studied Sociology. Since 1990 he teaches Sociology and issues concerning the Greek-American community, at Queens College, CUNY. He published, independently, two books of poetry in 1989 and 1996. Many of his poems have been published in various American and Greek magazines and journals. This present volume includes new poems and completes a trilogy.
